What the regulator decided

Twitter required photographic identification to verify the identity of a complainant whose account had been suspended and who had requested erasure under Article 17, breaching Articles 5(1)(c) and 6(1) GDPR; Twitter also failed to process the erasure within the statutory period in Article 17(1) and did not inform the data subject of the action taken within one month as required by Article 12(3) GDPR.
