Its loader is served from cdn.userway.org or accessibilityserver.org and fetches the site's widget configuration from api.userway.org.

Common mistakes

  • 1Leaving the widget undisclosed because it sets no cookie - every page view still calls UserWay's US-incorporated service with the visitor's IP address, and the loader writes the visitor's settings to localStorage
  • 2Embedding the loader from accessibilityserver.org and then allowlisting only userway.org in a CSP or a consent-blocking rule, so the loader host escapes both
